Movie Review – Into the Wild

“Maybe I stopped writing because I figured it all out.”

Into the Wild an absolutely inspirational movie about a young brave, ignorant, longing, stupid, amazing boy name Christopher McCandelss who seeks more than life has to offer.

“Happiness only real when shared” –Into the Wild

A must watch for those who are lost.

Good People

If you can start the day without caffeine; If you can get going without pep pills; If you can always be cheerful, ignoring aches and pains; If you can resist complaining and boring people with your troubles; If you can eat the same food every day and be grateful for it; If you can understand when your loved ones are too busy to give you any time; If you can forgive a friend’s lack of consideration; If you can overlook it when those you love take it out on you when,    through no fault of your own, something goes wrong; If you can take criticism and blame without resentment; If you can ignore a friend’s limited education and never correct him; If you can resist treating a rich friend better than a poor friend; If you can face the world without lies and deceit; If you can conquer tension without medical help; If you can relax without liquor; If you can sleep without the aid of drugs; If you can honestly say that deep in your heart you have no prejudice against creed or color, religion or politics; then, my friend, you are almost as good as your dog.

Get Drunk

One should always be drunk.  That’s all that matters; that’s our one imperative need. So as not to feel Time’s horrible burden one which breaks your shoulders and bows you down, you must get drunk without cease.  But with what? With wine, poetry, or virtue as you choose. But get drunk.  And if, at some time, on steps of a palace, in the green grass of a ditch, in the bleak solitude of your room, you are waking and the drunkenness has already abated, ask the wind, the wave, the stars, the clock, all that which flees, all that which groans, all that which rolls, all that which sings, all that which speaks, ask them, what time it is; and the wind, the wave, the stars, the birds, and the clock, they will all reply:  “It is time to get drunk!  So that you may not be the martyred slaves of Time, get drunk, get drunk, and never pause for rest! With wine, poetry, or virtue, as you choose!”
